Over the years I have had numerous portraits done of my children and dogs. I now have two German Shepherd cross Malamutes and in July Mr Bardsley came to me to do a photo shoot of my puppies to enable me to have another to add to my collection.

In my opinion the portrait I received from Mr Bardsley is far more superior to any I have had taken in the past. The portrait captures the true personality of both puppies and reflects the relationship they have with each other and their genuine characteristics.

Darren was recommended by a friend, as a professional and smart photographer, that we would be proud to have representing Perrier Jouet, he did not disappoint.

We were trying to replicate the work of Lorenzo Aguis and create some memorable portraits, Darren replicated Lorenzo’s work whilst adding his own style and the results were fantastic.

The photos are great, that goes without saying, but it was the speed of service and the professional finish that was so great to receive.

Darren is easy to work with, we gave him a brief and left him to it, as we had many other things to do during the day, he worked quickly and quietly and the result was a portfolio of pictures we can show to our customers that demonstrate the feel of the day impeccably.

I have known Darren for many years, so I am delighted to be able to recommend him to anyone looking for a professional photographer.

Late last year my Partner and I celebrated the birth of our first child and everybody told us to capture the moment as they grow up so quickly. We took the usual first parent shots but we also wanted some done professionally to give to Grandparents as gifts and a larger framed photograph for ourselves.

I was aware of Darren’s excellent work he had done recently with corporate clients and Weddings, so I approached him about taking the shots of Orla and he offered his New Beginnings package, which is 3 shoots over the first two years and is just what we were looking for.

On the first shoot Darren put us and Orla at ease and took some superb high quality natural pictures, which we (& the Grandparents!) are over the moon with. He also listened intently to our requirements and was very flexible in his approach and his speed of service was first class.

We are all looking forward to our next shoot in 9-12 months time where I am sure Darren will capture just how quickly she has grown.
