I’m really looking forward to Natalie and Bernie’s wedding this December at the wonderful and recently refurbished Peckforton Castle. I’m hoping for either a lovely crisp winters morning with clear blue skies or for a blanket of fresh undisturbed snow. This is however Britain, so its a lottery when it comes to the weather, as it was in the height of our summer when we took Natalie and Bernie around Manchester’s Northern Quarter for their pre-wedding photo shoot.>/p>
On a Sunday morning at the end of July we met up near Dale Street, just behind Piccadilly, Manchester and the weather forecast was… well, typically Manchester like! Saturday had been beautiful.
I’d asked Natalie and Bernie to pick a location that had meaning for them. The Northern Quarter being a place where they have spent a lot of their time as a couple, and living near by.
There are some great cobbled streets around these parts of Manchester so I had a few ideas in mind, which meant me getting a little wet and grimy:-)
A few shots down by the canal to get into the swing of things turned out really well.
Despite the mixed and at times miserable weather I think we managed to get some great shots of them together.
